How Long Will It Take To Sell Your Home?

To be a successful seller you must always be aware of how your property is fitting into the marketplace. There are basically three roles that a property can play.

First is the NO SHOWING role - in this role the property is playing no part in the market - it is just there doing nothing, waiting for the market to educate the seller and the Realtor.

The next role is the SHOW BUT NOT PLACING role. This property is actively on the market but is primarily being used by buyers and Realtors to confirm that in fact another home they are looking at is really a better price.

The last role is the SHOW PLACE role. This home is the most active on the market where most buyers that look at it are "placing" it on their short list. In the current marketplace our statistics show that as many as 20% of the homes for sale are not even on the playing field, another 40% are on the field but will have a difficult time selling as they are currently being offered. The last 40% is where the action is - these sellers can start packing their bags.
